When you use a free element in the VTB, it is by default set to not display a day number or date in the output.

Do you want this free element to display a day number and/or date?
Then simply check the option Show dates in output.
Why use a free element?
A free element is designed to add extra information outside the standard day structure of your tour. Think of an informational message such as “You have arrived at the next destination and tomorrow you will go on an excursion” or general notes that are not directly tied to a specific day.
In most cases, showing a date or day number isn’t necessary, since it’s primarily meant as an informational block.But if you do want to link the context to a specific day or date, you can enable this via the Show dates in output option.
