This feature shows you to offer an alternative flight within a trip. For example, you can offer departure from Amsterdam Airport instead of Rotterdam, or provide a later flight on the same day.
How it works
1. Go to the desired Flight element in your trip.
2. Add an extra flight line.
3. Mark this flight as Optional.
Once you do this, an additional Flight element is automatically created. In this additional Flight element, enter the details of the alternative flight, such as:
– Different departure airport
– Different departure time
– Different airline or routing
Note: do not enter the price here. This is done in Step 3 (Price).
4. Go to step 3 (Price).
5. Enter a plus or minus price.
How does it look in the output?
In the output, you will see the alternative displayed below the original flight.
